Redwood Falls Fire Dept. called out

The Redwood Falls fire department was called out twice Tuesday.

With windy conditions in the area fortunately both fires were able to be controlled quickly.

At about 10 AM they were called to a brush fire at the Lawrence Muetzel’s rural residence. Fire officials were on the scene for about 2 hours.

The Second call came in Tuesdays evening at about 10 pm.

A grease fire was reported at 800 Sunrise Blvd. The fire department was on the scene for about 15 minutes to remove smoke. The fire was out when they arrived. There was minor damage.
