During the holiday season, we are reminded to be thankful for all we have. The American Red Cross is thankful for blood and platelet donors who give hospital patients the opportunity to spend another holiday with their family and friends.
Currently, blood products are going out to area hospitals just as quickly as donations are coming in. The American Red Cross urges all eligible donors to make an appointment to give blood and platelets. It is imperative that there is a consistent and stable blood supply for all patients in need.
