A bomb threat put the Sleepy Eye Public School building in lock down for about an hour Wednesday morning.
A note about a bomb was found in a school bathroom and Sleepy Eye Police responded just before 10 AM.
School officials report that officers plus the school superintendent, maintenance and custodian staff searched the building while the school was in lock down.
No evidence of a bomb was found.
Students and staff stayed in the classrooms during the search, administration had classes continue. The exterior school doors were locked and no one was allowed in the building during the lock down.
Police and school officials are continue to investigate the source of the note.
