19 year old Samuel Hernandez of Sleepy Eye is being charged with assaulting a police officer, assault and obstructing the legal process.
Sleepy Eye police were called to a party Saturday night where Hernandez was being placed under arrest. While resisting officers-Hernandez pulled officers down a stairwell and hit a deputy several times in the face.
When placed in the squad car-he reportedly vomited on himself and in the car.
Hernandez was taken to the New Ulm Detox unit and determined to have a blood alcohol level of .25.
