Dorean Lena Hoffman, 88, of Sanborn, MN died on Monday, October 31, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willow Lake Township.

Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Willow Lake Township on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 10:30 AM.

The Clergy will be Pastor Dennis Brech.

Interment will be at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Willow Lake Township.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, MN.

Dorean Lena Hoffman was born on August 12, 1923 in Willow Lake Township, Redwood County, the daughter of Herman and Augusta (Wagner) Hoffman. She attended country school and helped with the family farm. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willow Lake Township where she was baptized and confirmed. Dorean enjoyed cooking, gardening and helping with the farm. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor. Dorean lived on the farm her entire life before moving to St. John Lutheran Home in 2008.

She is survived by her brother - Ronald Hoffman of Walnut Grove; sisters - Lois Emery of Hayfield, MN and Ardella (Roger) Ankrum of Luck, WI and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers - Warren and Ivan; and sisters - Mildred Blume, Lorraine Fennern and Dolores Fennern.
