ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - James Neal scored for the sixth time this

lamp for the Wild.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The sports agency representing Christian
Ponder says the rookie quarterback will start for the Minnesota
Vikings on Sunday. SportsTrust Advisors sent a tweet yesterday
congratulating Ponder for earning the start against Green Bay.
Coach Leslie Frazier has said he'd announce the quarterback
decision today.
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - NFL executive vice president Eric Grubman
says he's worried what might happen if the Vikings' Metrodome lease
expires with a new stadium plan in place. Grubman met with Governor
Mark Dayton yesterday to discuss stadium politics. Grubman says no
stadium deal could leave an opening for an alternative plan in
another city seeking an NFL franchise.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Coach Jerry Kill says turning around
Minnesota's football program is going to be a bigger job than he
originally thought. The Gophers have been outscored 103-17 in two
straight losses before the bye last week. Kill hasn't lost his
confidence, saying the team's just going to keep plugging away.
