scored nine times.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Texas slugger Nelson Cruz set a record

for home runs in a postseason series, connecting for the sixth time

the series, another record for any postseason round.

MILWAUKEE (AP) - The Rangers will open the World Series on the

road Wednesday night at either St. Louis or Milwaukee. The

Cardinals can close out the Brewers in Game 6 of the NL

Championship Series Sunday afternoon at Miller Park.

CONCORD, N.C.(AP) - Matt Kenseth posted his third win over the

NASCAR season by holding off Kyle Busch to win the Bank of America

500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway with Carl Edwards third as Edwards

Championship. Five-time series champion Jimmie Johnson crashed with

13 laps left and dropped from third to eighth in the driver

standings with five races left.

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Andrew Luck did nothing to hurt his

chances for winning the Heisman Trophy in leading seventh-ranked

Stanford to a 44-14 win over Washington State. Luck posted his
