Titan Machinery Inc. is continuing to develop plans to construct a new farm implement sales and service dealership in Redwood Falls.

The Redwood Falls city council set a public hearing to consider the adoption of a joint resolution with Paxton Township to annex the parcel they recently purchased. The meeting was set for October 18th at 5 PM.

Construction plans are for a $2.1 million facility to be completed in December of 2012.

Discussions are taking place with city administration and Titan Machinery to provide water, sewer and electric services to the facility.

City administration praised the company for being good to work with and the construction will add a significant taxable value to the property.

Titan Machinery Inc. purchased Schoffman’s Inc. in Redwood Falls this last Spring. Titan has about 80 dealerships in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska and Wyoming.
