EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - Despite an 0-4 start, Minnesota

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier says Donovan McNabb is still the

team's quarterback. Frazier says the Vikings are looking to make

several changes, but switching quarterbacks isn't one of them.

McNabb is ranked 30th in yards passing and 22nd in completion

percentage.

 


MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Lynx are hoping to continue

their dominance against the Atlanta Dream in Game 2 of the WNBA

finals tomorrow night. The Lynx outrebounded the Dream 40-28 and

outscored them 52-30 in the paint. The Dream are hoping the return

of Erika de Souza adds a spark.

 


DETROIT (AP) - Justin Verlander had 11 strikeouts last night as

the Detroit Tigers topped the New York Yankees 5-4 in the AL

division series. Delmon Young hit a tiebreaking homer in the

seventh inning to give the Tigers a 2-1 series lead. Rick Porcello

takes the mound against A.J. Burnett in Game 4 tonight.

 


TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - LeGarrette Blount's fourth-quarter touchdown

run gave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a 24-17 win over the Indianapolis

Colts last night. Blount finished with 127 yards rushing and

quarterback Josh Freeman threw for 287 yards and a score. The Colts

got two long TD receptions from receiver Pierre Garcon.
