2 arrested after search warrant in Olivia



On September 1, 2011 a search warrant was executed at approximately 7:30 p.m. at 804 East Evergreen Avenue Apartment #304 in Olivia, Minnesota. The search warrant was the result of an investigation by the Renville County Sheriff’s Department, Olivia Police Department, MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the BLR Drug Task Force. As a result of this search warrant, two suspects were arrested. Those arrested were Jamison Martin Wohlman DOB 04/10/1973 and Tracy Sue Nelson DOB 01/11/1966 both residents of the apartment. Both parties were charged with 2nd Degree Sale – 3 grams or more of methamphetamine within a 90 day period. The penalty carries not less than three years, nor more than 40 years in prison, up to a $500,000 fine, or both in violation of MN State statute 152.022 subd. 1(1). Both defendants were also charged with 3rd Degree Possession of methamphetamine, violation of MN State statute 152.023 subd. 2(1). This carries not less than 2 years, nor more than 30 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, or both. Both defendants have made court appearances in Renville County Court and the case is being prosecuted by Assistant Renville County Attorney Glen Jacobsen.
