The presentation of the River Revival documentary will be shown at the Fort Ridgely Historic Site commissary building on September 24, 2011 at 1:30. The Minnesota River has always been vitally important to people of the region. It is also one of the nation’s most polluted waterways. See and hear how projects have helped to improve the quality of the Minnesota River within the last 10 years. Hear also what challenges still exist and what is needed to make the Minnesota River a river of pride for future generations.
Fort Ridgely is located 7 miles south of Fairfax MN on State Hwy #4 or 11 miles north of Sleepy Eye MN. A MN State Park permit and fees to enter the commissary apply to this presentation. The program is sponsored by the Nicollet County Historical Society.
