Reported to the Brown County Sheriff's Office on 09-12-2011 at 0802 hrs.
On 09-11-2011 at approximately 2200 Hours, Kaitlyn Jan Macht, 16, was traveling westbound on CSAH #24 in a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix, when she swerved to miss a deer in the road, just after a curve. Kaitlyn lost control of the vehicle, entered the south ditch, rolled over and came to rest into a bean field. Kaitlyn was transported by her father to the Springfield Medical Center. The vehicle sustained major damage and is considered a complete loss.
