Wilford Fredlund, of Dawson, died Sunday, August 28, 2011, at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson, at the age of 85.

Funeral service will be held Friday, September 2, 2011, at 11:00 AM, at Providence Valley Lutheran Church in rural Dawson with Pastor Cheryl Matthews officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home in Dawson on Thursday, September 1, from 5-7:00 PM, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM.

He survived by his wife, Pat Fredlund of Dawson; daughter, Eleanor (Jon) Wintheiser of Redwood Falls; 2 step-daughters: Rebecca (Greg) Moorse and Denise (Troy) Kluess of Minneota; step-son, Nathan (Cheri) Schmig of Shakopee; 14 grandchildren; 1 sister, LaVonne Fliss of Edina; 3 nieces and other family and friends.

Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home of Dawson is in charge of the arrangements.
