The public is invited to attend an very IMPORTANT meeting on the future of broadband in Redwood County on Monday, August 29 at the Redwood Area Community Center.
5-6 pm - Networking/Social time - light appetizers and refreshments will be served
6-8 p.m. - Broadband presentations
The purpose of this meeting is educational to share all the public information on the new Broadband mandate from the State of Minnesota, and to learn what our neighboring counties are doing to met this infrastructure mandate, and to further discuss with a larger group from the county and communities in Redwood County how we might want to address this opportunity for our own future!
You will learn the difference in the various types of services that we currently have available. Pam Lehmannfrom LacQui Parle County will be sharing their broadband initiative and partnership with a local phone cooperative, and Mark Erickson City Administrator from Winthrop will share about the Renville/Sibley Fiber project.
