John Robert (Jack) Kaufenberg died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 after more than 15 years of fighting Sjogren’s Sydrome and Sjogren’s Disease. Jack was born May, 1946, the second child of Norman and Millie Kaufenberg. He lived near Wanda, then in Redwood Falls, Ortonville, Wabasso and Lamberton. Jack served in the US Army in Vietnam in 1966 – 1967. After returning, he settled in California, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from California State University Northridge and subsequently moved to Pennsylvania, where he had a highly successful career marketing medical equipment for Wolf Medical. While in California, he met and married Irene Hilden in 1970.
Jack is survived by his wife Irene and son Peter, Brothers James (Pat) Boca Raton, FL, Michael (Nan) Redwood Falls, Anthony (Helen) Moose Lake, MN, and Timothy (Lori), Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman & Millie and his daughter Jennifer.
