Marion Jean Clara (Siemering) Otsea, 86, of Sleepy Eye, MN died on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Divine Providence Community Home in Sleepy Eye, MN.
Visitation will be at the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Albion Lutheran Church.
Service will be held at Albion Lutheran Church on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 10:30 AM.
The Clergy will be Pastor Bob Springer.
Interment will at Albion Lutheran Cemetery.
Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye, MN.

Marion Jean Clara Otsea was born to Albe and Alpha (Schreyer) Siemering on December 26, 1924 in New Ulm, MN. She was baptized at Friedens Evangelical Church in New Ulm and graduated from New Ulm High School. She attended business school and worked for Ben Fanklin and the Nelson Albin Store. Marion married Glen Otsea on October 23, 1949 at the Little Brown Church in Nausha, IA. As newlyweds the couple lived in St. Paul and Randolph, MN until returning to the Otsea family farm in Godhal, MN where they farmed for over 50 years. Marion passed away Sunday August 6, 2011 at the age of 86 at Divine Providence in Sleepy Eye, MN.
Marion had unconditional love for her children and grandchildren and was loved and respected by her family and friends. She always put the needs of others before herself and had a wonderful sense of humor. Marion loved working with Glen on the farm in Godhal and was a long-time member of Albion Lutheran Church.
Marion is survived by her children: Bruce (Becky) Otsea of St. Joseph, MO, Sheri-Lynn (Jeffrey) Jones of Sleepy Eye, MN and Nancy (Nyles) Dreke of Cannon Falls, MN. Nine grandchildren: Jesse Otsea, Chad Jones, Jenifer Otsea, Devin Otsea, Tina Langseth, Tara Havemeier, Jacob Jones, Sara Dreke Eyre and Daniel Dreke. Eight great-grandchildren: Kieran, Ariana, Carissa, Chelsey, Ethan, Dalton, Gabriella and Natalie. Her sister: Elaine Smalley of Portland, ME; Brother-in-law Fred Otsea of Sacred Heart, MN and many nieces, nephews and friends.
