MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Gov. Mark Dayton has ordered U.S. and
Minnesota flags lowered Monday on the fourth anniversary of the
I-35W bridge collapse in Minneapolis.
Dayton has set aside the day to honor and remember the victims,
to offer support to their families, and to thank and recognize the
police officers, fire and rescue personnel, and other first
responders.
The collapse happened at 6:05 p.m. on Aug. 1, 2007. Thirteen
people were killed and 145 others injured.
Dayton plans to attend a memorial service on Monday.
