2 Redwood County Traffic Accidents on Sunday



The Redwood County Law Enforcement Center is reporting two traffic accidents that took place on Sunday, July 24th.

The first accident was a one vehicle crash at the intersection of CR 10 and 210th Street.  A 2007 GMC Sierra, driven by 16 year old Spencer Jenniges, and owned by Thomas Jenniges of Lamberton, was travelling on CR 10, when the driver fell asleep and went into the ditch and over 210th street, causing the truck to roll.  There were no injuries during the incident, but the vehicle sustained total damage.

The second was also a one vehicle accident, that took place on CSAH 11, a half mile north of 205th street, in the Sherman Township.  A 2001 Ford Super Duty, driven by Wayne Norman Gordon, of Franklin, and owned by Joe Maurer, was travelling on CSAH 11, when the driver lost control and entered the west ditch.  Upon entering the west ditch, the truck rolled and came to rest on it's roof.  The driver was wearing his seatbelt and suffered only minor injuries.  The vehicle was totalled in the accident.  The accident is under investigation, and listed as charges pending..
