Frederick Hubert

Frederick G. Hubert, 69, of Redwood Falls and formerly of Lamberton, MN died on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton, MN.

Service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton, MN on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 10:30 AM.

The Clergy will be Pastor Stew Carlson.

Interment will be at the Lamberton Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton, MN.

Frederick G. Hubert was born on August 13, 1941, in Tracy, MN, the son of Emil J. and Nona (Moody) Hubert. He attended country school and helped on the family farm. Fritz worked and helped area farmers and did lawn care in the Lamberton area. In 1995 he moved to Redwood Falls and resided at Lakeside Apartments. The last few months Fritz has lived at Wooddale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls. He enjoyed gardening, lawn work, fishing, riding bike, and visiting with people.

He is survived by his siblings - Lawrence Hubert of Lamberton, MN, Norma Seifert Miller and her husband Harold Miller of Hemett, CA, Marjorie and husband Bernett Nickel of Sanborn, MN, Carol Werner of Lake George, MN, Janice and husband Rodney Gertner of Walnut Grove, MN, and Dennis and wife Loretta Hubert of Anoka, MN; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers - Willard Hubert and Dale Hubert; a brother-in-law - Darold Werner; and a sister-in-law - Colleen Hubert.
