The Redwood Area Hospital Foundation is hosting their fifth annual dinner theatre event for the opening night of Redwood Area Theater’s production of “The Sound of Music.” The fundraiser, held on July 21st, will begin with a social hour at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00.
The evening activities include dinner conversation a RAT director and a special pre-show performance by the cast. The fundraiser will take place in the Redwood Area Community Center. After dinner, guests will be escorted to special seating reserved in the Performing Arts Center for the opening night performance.
“Guests have such a wonderful time at this event,” said Karen Melges, Redwood Area Hospital Foundation Director. “The conversation with the show’s director before the show makes the whole evening much more meaningful for our guests.”
The cost of tickets is $50, including show seating. Tickets can be purchased starting July 5, 2010 by calling Karen Melges at 507-637-4668. All proceeds will benefit new hospital lab equipment.
