City of Redwood Falls Storm Cleanup Update
July 7, 2011

- The cleanup of Zone 2 will be finished today. Work will begin on Zone 3 today and should be completed on July 8. At this time it is anticipated that the cleanup of zone 4 will begin on Monday, July 11.

- Residents are asked to not put tree debris in the street after their zone has been completed. Large trees may be placed on the boulevard for future pickup or may be hauled directly to the burn site. Smaller branches should be taken directly to the burn site.

- Residents must contact Gopher State One Call to request a utility locate before removing stumps. Uprooted stumps present a danger to underground gas and utility lines.

- Residents are asked to check storm drain catch basins and clear them of leaves and debris to prevent them from being plugged during a rain storm.

- The City of Redwood Falls appreciates the efforts of residents to assist with the cleanup efforts.
