West Central Minnesota Historical Association’s traveling World War I exhibit will be in the Main Museum in Morton from March 18 – April 26. This project was supported by WCMHA’s members and the Minnesota Historical and Cultural Heritage Grant . ‘Many were called. Our entire region responded. How the Great War hit home in West Central Minnesota.’ The exhibit covers 5 parts of the war: Heeding the Call, Letters Home, Home Front, Soldier’s Life and Returning Home. The Renville County Historical Society has incorporated its World War I collection around this exhibit! This is a must see for all ages! The Museum is Open Monday – Friday 10 AM – 4 PM and there will be a Special Open House on Saturday, April 20 from 10 AM – 4 PM! Serving refreshments!
