Semi tips over in Redwood Falls



The driver of a semi that tipped onto its side in Redwood Falls Wedesday afternoon had minor injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol is reporting that a 2003 International Semi was making a left turn from Highway 19 to 101 when it tipped onto its side.

The driver, 23 year old Nicholas Harren of Eagle Bend, Minnesota was treated and released with minor injuries.

The semi was carrying a full load of liquid fertilizer. The Redwood Falls fire department was on the scene providing assistance as the fertilizer was leaking from the semi.

The Redwood Falls police and Redwood County Sheriff's Office also provide assistance with safety on the scene.

The accident happened about 12:40 in the afternoon Wednesday but the roadway was blocked for over an hour until the semi could be righted.
