Wednesday, August 3rd the State Patrol reported a hit and run accident involving a Red Semi pulling a low-boy with an excavator on it.
 
The Semi was headed eastbound on County Road 11 and did not stop at a stop sign according to the report. A Ford Ranger hit the rear of the excavator.

26 year old Jeremiah Gunnerson of Cosmos was driving the Ford Ranger and filed the complaint. His vehicle was totaled and he was treated and released for injuries sustained in the accident.

The accident on Highway 4 and County Road 11 happened Wednesday just before 6 AM.
