Robert Graff, age 79 of Lamberton, MN died on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Valley View Manor Care Center in Lamberton, MN.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton, MN and will continue on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Lamberton, MN.
Burial will be at the Lamberton Cemetery.

Robert Gerald Graff was born on September 24, 1932 to Robert A. and Ethel (Erickson) Graff in Highwater Township, Cottonwood County, MN. He grew up and attended country school in Highwater Township and then attended and graduated from Lamberton High School in 1950. On September 6, 1952 he was united in marriage to Joyce Bittner in Wanda. He worked various jobs after high school until his marriage and then the couple farmed in Waterbury Township until his retirement in 2006. In 1997, Bob and Joyce moved in to Lamberton and due to ongoing health issues Bob entered Valley View Manor in September of 2011. Bob served on the Lamberton School Board for 12 years also serving as Chairman, he also served on the Wanda Elevator Board. He enjoyed fishing trips, bowling, pool league, Labor Day weekends at Lake Osakis with the family, playing cards, dancing, winter trips, C-store coffee group, Minnesota Twins, Gophers, Timberwolves and Vikings and also watching his grandchildren’s sporting events. Bob had a great sense of humor and loved teasing everyone.
Bob is survived by his wife – Joyce; children – Barb (Mike) Johnson of Lamberton, Judy (Doug) Knuth of Round Lake, Kevin (Char) Graff of Lamberton, Karen (Tom) Neperman of Lamberton, Mark (Michelle) Graff of Marshall; grandchildren – Anna (Steve) Hesse, Tim Johnson, Grady Knuth, Kyle (Maggie) Knuth, Lindsey (Ryan) Grunden, Jake (Jenny) Graff, Shane Neperman, Emily Neperman, Josh Graff, Callie Graff; great grandchildren – Austin, Ella, Makenna, Makayla Hesse; brothers – Roger (Bonnie) Graff of Great Falls, MT, Gary (Diane) Graff of Lamberton, Bruce (Elona) Graff of Minneapolis, Dick (Joanne) Graff of LeSueur; sisters – Shirley Mattison and Janice (Merle) Coulter all of Lamberton; sisters-in-law – Bonnie (Fred) Henkel of Lamberton, Joan (Dick) Coyle of Alexandria, Joyce Bittner of Lamberton, many nieces, nephews and great friends. He is preceded in death by his parents – Robert and Ethel Graff; sister – Arliss Quiring; brothers-in-law – Donald Quiring, Arlo Mattison and Glenn Bittner. ; brothers-in-law – Donald Quiring, Arlo Mattison and Glenn Bittner.
