Kasi Lynn Walter, 30, of Baxter, MN and formerly of Springfield died on
Monday, June 13, 2011 at her home in Baxter, MN.

Visitation will be at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, MN on Friday,
June 17, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Service will be held at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, MN on Friday,
June 17, 2011 at 3:00 PM.

The Clergy will be Chaplain Mary Pauluk & Father Dennis Labat.

The family suggests memorials be made in the form of reading books for one
of Kasi's three children - Kylie, Samantha, or Caden.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.

Kasi Lynn Walter was born on April 19, 1981 in New Ulm, MN, the
daughter of Dave and Maxine (Platz) Walter. She attended St. Raphael's
Catholic School and attended and graduated from Springfield Public High
School. Kasi worked at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield and Norwood in
Sleepy Eye. She lived and worked in Eagan, MN before moving to Brainerd and
finally to Baxter, MN. She attended and graduated from Central Lake College
in Brainerd. Kasi loved her children, loved to read, enjoyed taking photos,
and spending time with family and her friends.

She is survived by her children - Kylie Lipetzky, Samantha Walter, and
Caden Walter, all of Baxter; father - Dave (Muriel) Walter of Springfield;
mother - Maxine Walter of Springfield; paternal grandparents - George Sr.
and Ann Walter of Sleepy Eye, MN; special friend - Lee D'Aversa; siblings -
Kelly (Steve) Peterson of Blomkest, MN, Todd Walter of Clements, MN, and
Tyson Walter of Council Bluffs, IA; nieces and a nephew - Marcus, McKena,
and Marisa Peterson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded
in death by her maternal grandparents - Norbert and Florence Platz and a
cousin - Carisa Walter.
