Prices at the pump are dropping again.
Minnesota-Gas-Prices-dot-Com reports regular unleaded averaging just over 3-23 a gallon this morning -- six-cents less than a week ago. It's still about 15-cents-a-gallon more expensive to fill up than last year at this time. Many Minnesota households haven't seen heating bills this low in years. Commerce Department data shows natural gas is selling for less than half of what it was six years ago. A spike in natural gas exploration in several states has caused its price to drop to levels not seen in a decade, while warm temperatures have been setting records. The cost of gas makes up about 70- to 80-percent of heating bills.
