On December 9, 2011, approximately 7:37 AM, the Renville County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of 850th Avenue and 510th Street, which is northwest of Buffalo Lake, MN in Brookfield Township.
The driver of the vehicle, Melody Moore, age 65, of Buffalo Lake, MN, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala and had attempted to make a left turn onto 850th Avenue. In doing so, Moore drove into the ditch and her vehicle came to rest in a drainage ditch next to the roadway. Moore was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital by the Buffalo Lake Ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
The crash was investigated by the Renville County Sheriff’s Office. The Hector Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
