Frances, (Mrs. Melvin) Werner, age 93, of Lucan passed away Monday
June 27, 2011 at Wood Dale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls. Graveside
service will be held Wednesday June 29, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity
Lutheran Church Cemetery in Lucan. Sunset Funeral and Cremation
Association of Echo and Wabasso are in charge of the arrangements.

Frances L. Werner was born on April 6, 1918 in rural Lucan to Arthur
and Emma (Larson) George. She grew up in the Lucan area and attended
country school. On November 10, 1937 she was united in marriage to
Melvin Werner in Lucan. Frances was an accomplished piano player. She
gave piano lessons, played for weddings, choirs and other events. She
always had a good story to tell.

Frances L. Werner passed away on Monday June 27, 2011 at Wood Dale
Nursing Home in Redwood Falls at the age of 93 years, 2 months and 21
days. She is survived by her niece and nephew Charlotte and Duane
Werner of Mound, MN and her sister Vera Olson. She is preceded in
death by her parents, and husband Arthur. Blessed be her memory.
