An 18 year old was killed in a 2 vehicle accident Wednesday evening.

Kailey Olson, 18 of Granite Falls was driving a 2003 Saturn on County Road 7 in Redwood County when she failed to yield according to the Minnesota State Patrol and was broadsided on the drivers side by a 2006 Grand Prix on Highway 19.

The passenger in Olson's vehicle, 20 year old Michaela Busenbark of Granite Falls is listed in critical condition at North Memorial Hospital.

The 2006 Grand Prix was driven by 27 year old Briana Nething of Morgan. The vehicle was totalled. Nething and her 2 daughters in the vehicle were treated and released for injuries sustained in the collission.

The accident happened at 8:34 PM Wednesday night at the Highway 19/Redwood County Road 7 intersection.
