Redwood County Court news for Aug. 6

Leroy Anthony Meadows was convicted of Controlled Substance Crime in the Fourth Degree for an offense occurring on January 1, 2018, and was sentenced to 39 months in prison and a $50 fine plus fees and surcharges.

Christopher Benson Williams was convicted of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Third Degree for an offense occurring between March 16 and April 8, 2018, and was sentenced ten years supervised probation, to serve 180 days in jail, to pay a $250 fine plus fees and surcharges, to register as a predatory offender, and to follow all conditions of felony probation.

Richard Leo Peters was convicted of Kidnapping and Assault in the Second Degree for an offense occurring on October 5, 2017, and was sentenced ten years supervised probation, to serve 365 days in jail, to pay a $150 fine plus fees and surcharges, to pay restitution to the victim, to register as a predatory offender, and to follow all conditions of felony probation.

John Donald Stillson was convicted of Violation of a Domestic Assault No Contact Order for an offense occurring between December 14, 2017 and June 3, 2018, and was sentenced five years supervised probation, to serve 90 days in jail, to pay $200 fine plus fees and surcharges, to obey all existing Orders for Protection and Domestic Assault No Contact Orders, and to follow all conditions of felony probation.

John Donald Stillson admitted to a probation violation on an Assault in the Second Degree charge and was sentenced 90 days in jail concurrent with another probation violation.

John Donald Stillson admitted to a probation violation on a Controlled Substance Crime in the Fifth Degree and Driving While Impaired charge and was sentenced to 90 days in jail concurrent with another probation violation.

Zachary Lee Taylor admitted to a probation violation on a Controlled Substance Crime in the Fifth Degree charge and was sentenced to serve 45 days in jail and to obtain an updated chemical use assessment.

Ryan Stephen Wersal admitted to a probation violation on a Controlled Substance Crime in the Fifth Degree charge and was sentenced to serve 75 days in jail.

Austin Aberhard Telthoester admitted to a probation violation on a Domestic Assault by Strangulation charge and was sentenced to serve 58 days in jail.
