Lindsey Bernardy chosen as Wabasso High School’s Triple-A Award winner

Lindsey Bernardy, a senior at Wabasso High School, is the Region 3A Sub-Region 9 girls winner of the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award (Triple-A) sponsored by the Minnesota High School League.

During Bernardy’s high school days, she has been involved in a variety of different activities: volleyball, cross-country, basketball, track, band, choir, and one-act play. She has been selected as captain of the cross-country, basketball, and track squads, was selected to the all-conference teams in cross-country and track, and was a state participant in track as a sophomore. She has received the “Rabbit Award” in basketball.

Bernardy has participated in several musicals at Wabasso, and been a section leader in band. She has been a student council representative since eighth grade, and is currently president for the second year. She is also president of both the band and the choir, vice-president of the local FFA chapter, and a member of the National Honor Society.

Bernardy’s future plans include attending college to get a degree in Communications / Digital Arts.
