Redwood County Salvation Army looking for bell ringer volunteers

Volunteers are needed to ring the Salvation Army Bell at Tersteegs and Walmart during the holiday season.

If you would like to help you can sign up online at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0c4caca828abf49-come.  This is new,  so if you would like help signing up just give our office a call at 507-627-1016 and I will be happy to help you sign up for the time you want.

The Redwood County Salvation Army bell ringing season starts each November and runs through Christmas Eve, when the red kettles are packed away for the season. Volunteers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour – enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries, or shelter an individual for a night.  Please consider giving of your time to ring the bells this season—it’s a good project for church groups, Sunday School classes or youth service projects too!

The Salvation Army is using Signup Genius this year, so please go online to sign up at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0c4caca828abf49-come.

The slots are set up for two people in two hour shifts at WalMart & Tersteeg’s in Redwood Falls MN, so get a friend to share the time with you.
