A 35-year-old woman from Steele County is again facing charges for allegedly assaulting a peace officer.
Melissa Ann Law of Ellendale is accused of spraying mace in the face of a State Trooper on October 6th. It happened as the Trooper was trying to get Law to stop walking on Interstate 35E in St. Paul. The Trooper was taken by ambulance to Regions Hospital for treatment.
This is the second time this year that Law has been accused of assaulting a peace officer.
In March, she allegedly threw a Dairy Queen Blizzard into the face of a police officer who had responded to a domestic dispute involving Law at a grocery store parking lot in Blooming Prairie.
