It is a petty misdemeanor for any person to operate a specialty vehicle (Golf Cart, 4-Wheeler/ATV, Motorized Bicycle, or Mini Truck) on a City of Redwood Falls street, alley, or other public property without obtaining a permit.

All permits will be verified by placing a decal in a clearly visible location on all specialty vehicles. Each individual operator and/or owner of a specialty vehicle must apply for a permit, they are not transferrable. The permit fee is $30 for a three-year period. Applicants must provide proof of insurance at the time of application.

Owners and operators of Specialty Vehicles should review City Ordinances in order to operate safely within the City of Redwood Falls.

Specialty Vehicle Permit Applications are available on the City’s website or at City Hall, 333 South Washington Street, Redwood Falls, Minnesota.
