T.J. (Thomas Joseph) Scheibel was born August 16, 1988 to Douglas and Vickie (Warnemunde) Scheibel of rural Olivia. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bird Island, also attending school there through 7th grade. He wrestled and played football before graduating from B.O.L.D. High School in 2007. With a passion for farming and large machinery, T.J. worked different ag and construction jobs following high school. He was most recently employed at All Finish Concrete in Fargo, ND.
Being the youngest sibling to three sisters, T.J. often found himself a part of their amusement, jokes or occasional “dress-up” game. His fun-loving sense of humor allowed him to take, and return, this ridicule in-stride. His infectious smile and willingness to help any in need will be greatly missed.
T.J. became a father to a beautiful girl, Daviny Elizabeth, on May 20, 2010. He loved spending time with his daughter and helping her grow up. When not busy with work, family or teasing his sisters, T.J. enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, helping on the farm and spending time with friends.
T.J. is survived by his daughter Daviny Molacek-Scheibel of Fargo, ND parents Douglas and Vickie Scheibel, sisters Lindsey Scheibel of Plymouth, Melanie (and Tyler) Bettin of Des Moines, Iowa and Naomi (and Jason) Hyderdall and niece Samantha Sikora of Lake Villa, Illinois, grandparents Henry and Donna Scheibel of Bird Island, grandmother Patricia Warnemunde of St. James and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Larry and Marcheta Warnemunde of St. James.
