(St. Peter, MN) – Police in St. Peter are searching for a missing 12-year-old girl with developmental disabilities.
Mya Ann Arriage was apparently spotted by a motorist on the Highway 99 bridge over the Minnesota River at 3:47am. Police quickly responded, but located no one. Then at 4:44am, police received a frantic call from Mya’s mother, reporting that she had wandered out of the residence. An extensive ground, air and water search was then started.
May is about 5’3″ and 250 pounds. She is wearing an aqua blue t-shirt and pink pajama pants with polka dots. She is not wearing shoes.
Police say Mya is non-verbal and if often combative.
Anyone who may have information or sees Mya should call 911.
The search continues at this hour and includes officers from the St. Peter Police Department, the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office, the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office, the DNR and the State Patrol.
