Karen M. Beadell, age 75, of Owatonna, MN, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.
Visitation will be from 4-8pm Friday, November 11, 2016 at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna and one hour prior to the service at the church. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Aurora Lutheran Church rural Owatonna with Reverend Stephanie Wood officiating.
Inurnment will be in the Aurora Lutheran Cemetery.
Karen Marlys Lovald was born on December 27, 1940 in Tracy, Minnesota the daughter of Astor and Helen (Kruse) Lovald. She attended school in Wabasso where she graduated from high school in 1959. Karen continued her education at Mankato State University. She was married to Harry Beadell and later divorced. She lived in and around Owatonna. Karen was employed at Happy Chef in Owatonna, Hohenstein Insurance Agency, and Truth Hardware from which she retired in 2005. She enjoyed golfing, games, reading, decorating and cleaning and organizing. She was a member of Aurora Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and VBS, directed the choir, was a Sedona Circle Leader and a WELCA officer. Faith, family and friends were important to Karen. Her life quote was “Redeemed and Responsible”.
She is survived by her children, Harry “Chip” (Denise) Beadell, III of Morristown, Lori Beadell of Owatonna, Brian (Nathele) Beadell of Claremont; sisters, Jackie Lovald of Tracy and Debbie (Allen) Pierson of Tracy; six grandchildren, Keith Hamilton, Milayna Beadell, Mikiah Beadell, Maranda Beadell, Jonh Beadell and AlexZander Beadell and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
